First time fringe

Usually, I do not put fringe on the ends of scarves. Although I adore the look of fringe, I just never added it to anything. Until today.

For a custom scarf order, I put 13cm of fringe on each edge. It was a lot easier than I expected, but measuring to get the exact 13cm was the only challenge because I had to consider the knot and how much yarn it would take up and how it would affect the drape of the fringe.

I finally got the right size fringe board to lay out and cut the fringe on! I will keep this for future fringe.

New Italian Merino/Silk Yarn

I am loving this super soft merino wool/silk blend yarn! I love the sheen to it, which gives this grey shade a metallic feel while still being made from all natural fibers. This super extra long scarf is so special to me, since it is based on the same stitch as my favorite scarf. It will be available for purchase in my shop very soon!
