I want to update on Mandy Greer's public/environmental fiber art installation.
Mandy's work has inspired my idea for my freeform crochet belly dance hip belt for the solstice parade.
She is now slowly crocheting all the pieces together at Camp Long in West Seattle (see in pic above, from Mandy's flickr site) and has been posting some great photos of her process!
Check out the Mater Matrix Mother Medium flickr site...it's really radical!
(I am in one of the pics crocheting my contribution at the Olympic Sculpture Park...yay!)
