Woweee!  My hand crocheted chunky cowl neck warmers were voted as one of the "Top 10 Cowls" on the internet by Simply Crochet Magazine.  What an honor!

There are thousands of gorgeous cowls and cowl patterns on the internet.  I feel really honored to be recognized on this fantastic list.  The Chunky Cowl Neck Warmer in Lichen (available in my Etsy shop) was pictured in the article:

Big Chunky Crocheted Cowl Neckwarmers

Big News: I just reopened my Etsy shop for the winter.

I am excited to connect with customers and create my best work for you.

I live in a nice large space, and I have had time to de-stash and get organized since the move.  It always feels so good to get organized.

This season the majority of my work will be natural fibers and neutral colors.
I will continue with 100% wool, and just a few wool blends.
Alpaca cowls will be a big part of the shop as well, since alpaca fiber is so deliciously soft!

Just listed at my Etsy shop.

Simply the best!

The cowl that started it all....originally was supposed to be a sweater, but since I continuously failed at proper sleeves, I stitched up the sleeves and there was my giant cowl crocheted from 100% undyed peruvian wool. My first and favorite out of all I own :)

My Old Favorite Green Scarf

I crocheted this green scarf last winter, and it was my favorite scarf. This winter I have been wearing all my cozy cowls. Poor green scarf has not been worn at all this winter, and is feeling a little neglected :( Here she is, a gorgeous extra long scarf made from recycled sweater yarn from Smart Monkey yarns. Smart Monkey unravels old cotton sweaters so awesome new creations can be made from the yarn. Superb idea from an awesome woman (I met her at the Fremont Sunday Market where I bought oodles of yarn from her.)

Buttercream Natural Cowl

It's true.
I am obsessed with these natural wool yarns. Some yarns just feel great to work with, not too too soft or slippery or itchy...just the right texture and ply. I cannot get enough of this natural 100% undyed pure virgin wool cowl. The buttercream is so soft and pretty!

Natural Grey Neckwarmer

I absolutely love this 100% peruvian undyed wool yarn! It is my absolute favorite to work with right now.

These new cowl neckwarmers are made from 100% undyed peruvian highland wool. I absolutely love working with this yarn, and it comes in grey and chocolate brown. This neckwarmer is displayed with my favorite Woolrich plaid shirt, which I wear all the time in fall and winter months.
