My Crocheted Cowls are Listed in the "Top 10 Cowls" on the Internet

Woweee!  My hand crocheted chunky cowl neck warmers were voted as one of the "Top 10 Cowls" on the internet by Simply Crochet Magazine.  What an honor!

There are thousands of gorgeous cowls and cowl patterns on the internet.  I feel really honored to be recognized on this fantastic list.  The Chunky Cowl Neck Warmer in Lichen (available in my Etsy shop) was pictured in the article:

Big Chunky Crocheted Cowl Neckwarmers

Big News: I just reopened my Etsy shop for the winter.

I am excited to connect with customers and create my best work for you.

I live in a nice large space, and I have had time to de-stash and get organized since the move.  It always feels so good to get organized.

This season the majority of my work will be natural fibers and neutral colors.
I will continue with 100% wool, and just a few wool blends.
Alpaca cowls will be a big part of the shop as well, since alpaca fiber is so deliciously soft!

Just listed at my Etsy shop.

New! Vegan Friendly Cowl Neckwarmers

If you are vegan or have a sensitivity to wool, there is a cowl neck warmer for you!
I just posted a cowl neck warmer in my Etsy shop called "graylights." The name is inspired by young people who dye their hair with gray highlights.

This cowl is 100% acrylic, and just as fun and chunky as all the others. You can look at it here. Check back for more colors soon!

Crocheted Cowl Neckwarmers Restyled

It has been really fun to style some of my neck warmer with clothing on a dress form. Although it doesn't compare to how it will look on an actually person (which is always really fantastic!) it helps show how the cowl will look with other clothes. Take a look at my etsy shop with some new stylings, as well as new cowls I will be post this weekend!

In this pic my chocolate cowl neck warmer paired with my snakeskin print dress. I think I picked up this dress in a vintage shop years ago. I love animal prints!

New Felted Flowers!

Here are some new goodies I just posted in my Etsy shop this afternoon. Isn't spring the greatest time? I have been admiring so many flowers over the past month, and now I get to honor them with some of my flower creations!

Simply the best!

The cowl that started it all....originally was supposed to be a sweater, but since I continuously failed at proper sleeves, I stitched up the sleeves and there was my giant cowl crocheted from 100% undyed peruvian wool. My first and favorite out of all I own :)

New in Shop! Crochet Ruffle Scarf

Here is another scarf that I absolutely love: the ruffle scarf. I love the texture and curves. Each scarf is made by hand without a pattern. I free form every ruffle! Two will be available tomorrow, but there will be many to come in fabulous colors for spring.

I absolutely love this 100% peruvian undyed wool yarn! It is my absolute favorite to work with right now.

Crocheted Cowl Neckwarmers

These are hand crocheted from wool/acrylic blend yarn, and are super soft and cozy.

They are all hand crocheted with love and light!

Cowls are the perfect accessory for a winter walk in the forest, running errands, or outside waiting for the train.

My special stitch gives this cowl the perfect drape, shape and structure, and the yarn is super soft and snuggly to wear.

It's hard to just have one color for yourself! You can pull it over you shoulders, or over your head and make it a hood.

Year after year, this is a must-have accessory.

Some of these stylish cowls are now available in my Etsy shop. Come by and take a look!
